Healesville devil has no cancer
The devil from Healesville Sanctuary which was recently isolated for fear it might be infected with the contageous devil facial tumour disease (DFTD) has been found to be free of the cancer.
Whilst Save The Devil Program Director Steven Smith says he is relieved, experts were fairly confident last week that the devil would turn out to be DFTD-free.
The scare had delayed shipping of a number of devils from Healesville to the Austrlian Reptile Park in Gosford.
